Physical Description
Adelaide has a head of thick, soft, dark brown hair. As mentioned above, it is not one definite shade of dark brown, but rather a mix of several shades of brown and black. Her hair falls to halfway between her shoulder and her elbow, but it is layered so not all of it is the same length. Her hair often changes colour slightly depending on the season; in summer it will appear lighter because of the increased sunlight, and in winter generally a darker shade of brown.Dressing Style
In-keeping with her parents' eyes, Adelaide's are a dark brown colour. Her eyes are framed by naturally long, thick black eyelashes, something she is thankful for because she can step out of the house without any make-up. Her facial structure is soft, yet at the same time has a harsh beauty of it. People can tell just by her facial structure that she is a descendant of pureblood wizarding nobility, something which she is proud of.
Her cheekbones are set high and her teeth are naturally straight and white, perhaps too white because sometimes they look artificial against the darkness of her hair and eyes. Her nose is mainly straight, but at the end it curves up and so looks like a small ski-jump. Adelaide sees her nose as the worst thing about her face and dislikes it a lot.
Adelaide hit puberty quite early, and ever since she has looked like she has been stretched out and she looks thinner than she was before she started growing. However, with her height came her curves [even though they are rather small], something that she is proud of, because it shows her femininity. Appearances and impressions mean everything to Adelaide and she takes every pride in her own. Hygiene is a very key issue for her; she has a thing about cleanliness, and showers or bathes very often, especially when she has been outside for a long time.
Although Adelaide dislikes muggles, the one thing that she actually likes about them is their fashion. As she inherited all of her mother's money when she died, she can afford to spend it all on clothes. She normally wears a mixture of muggle and wizarding fashion of the highest quality, as to her appearances are nearly everything.

When people first hear of her name, they automatically assume that as her name is so pretty, Adelaide is a nice girl. They couldn't be further from the truth. Many of her closest friends and remaining relatives constantly tell her she is the spitting image, in both appearance and personality of her late mother Bellatrix. Just without the insanity streak.
When first meeting her, she is extremely cold and almost seems uncaring towards you, especially if she doesn't like the look of you. With snide, witty comments and a smirk to rival them, Adelaide does seem like a bitch. And too right. If someone thinks that way of her, then no doubt she will act that way towards them, just to get a kick out of it. She really does not care how anybody sees her, because she is her own individual person and she likes being that way. Her friends and people near and dear to her learn that straight away, and have to put up with it whether they like it or not.
Okay, so Adelaide is a little insane. Not in-your-face insane, but in her head, she has some pretty weird ideas about things, and seems to like the idea of pain and torture as much as her parents. She is currently learning how to use the spell Crucio properly, after her mother told her what a good feeling it was when she tortured someone, and for her own entertainment. Although a little weird, Adelaide seems to be great at one aspect of life. Trust. Since her childhood, she seemingly taught herself how to be secretive and views herself as one that can be trusted by her friends and family to keep a secret.
However, unlike her mother, Adelaide isn't as hating towards muggles, muggleborns and halfbloods. She accepts that times have moved on, and now only dislikes them, and finds that she can tolerate most halfbloods. However, this doesn't mean she goes round hugging them all. No, she still prefers the company of pureblooded people, and would trust them more than a muggleborn anyday.
Also, she does have rather a good hold over her explosive temper, but if she lets it loose, people better beware. She can cause a lot of damage, and is both physically and magically strong. Although she doesn’t really physically hit someone [seeing it as a Muggle thing], her knowledge of spells mean that her temper is feared by many, as she knows some pretty nasty hexes. And because she changes her emotions so quickly, going from calm and serene to angered in less than a second, Adelaide is treated with caution by those who don’t know her well enough to know when she is going to change.

History
Adelaide Cassiopeia Narcissa Lestrange was born on an oddly extremely rainy day at the start of August 1993 - the sixth, to be precise. Her mother, Bellatrix, at that time had just escaped Azkaban prison along with what was thought to be her real father, Rodolphus Lestrange. Naturally, people assumed that the first few years of Adelaide's life were spent in hiding from the Aurors and Order, or being left at home whilst her parents were out fighting, but it wasn't like that at all.Family
The family of three lived in a large, protected manor in the heart of the English countryside, which had once been owned by Rodolphus' father. It had millions of protection charms around it and was unplottable, so the family were very safe inside it's walls, and if the couple needed to go and fight, they left their daughter either with their house elf, or Adelaide's aunt Narcissa Malfoy.
However, in 1998, when Adelaide was just five, Bellatrix was murdered by Molly Weasley at the Battle of Hogwarts, after a massive man-hunt for her and her master, Lord Voldemort. The shock of Bellatrix's death rocked the family, and Rodolphus was sent into a downwards spiral, which he tried to cure with alcohol. However, he knew that he had a little girl to look after and he did a pretty good job of it, considering he wasn't what you would call the most caring, natural father in the world.
As only her father knew that Bellatrix was her real mother, after her death Rodolphus decided that to shelter Adelaide from future imprisonment or even death, they would not tell anyone who her mother really was. However, he was keen on his only child never forgetting her mother, and told Adelaide stories about Bellatrix as she grew up. He told her of Bellatrix's great love for her master Voldemort, and how she was the only female Death Eater in history.
By the time she reached eleven, Adelaide was already a lot mature than most people her age. She understood things others did not, and it was around that age that she began wanting to learn dark magic. When she reached Hogwarts for her very first time, she only had to sit on the stool for a split second before it decided that she should be a Slytherin.
Adelaide thrived in Slytherin house, and by her third year she had already established the title of the ruler of Slytherin girls. Not 'Slytherin's Princess', because that just sounded childish and girly to her, and she was more of a mysterious and cunning person. Adelaide gained her closest friends through her time at Hogwarts, and by the end of it had managed to do surprising well in her OWLS and NEWTs.
After she left Hogwarts, Adelaide never felt the need to get a job. She had inherited all of her mother's wealth when she died, and as Rodolphus was pretty rich as well, there really was no need. Instead, she spent most of her time learning dark magic, or meeting up with friends. One day, she decided to tidy up their manor a bit, when she came across all of Bellatrix's belongings. In there, she found her old diary, and, when riffling through the pages, Adelaide realised that Bellatrix really had loved Voldemort.
This had already got her fairly suspious; when she tried to remember back to the days when Bellatrix was alive, she remembered an argument that she hadn't understood at the time, one where Bellatrix couldn't confirm if Rodolphus was Adelaide's real father. So when she found an enevolpe addressed to her, she opened it and discovered the message written by Bellatrix; The Heir is Soon to return yet again.
So now Adelaide is searching for the real truth - is see really Rodolphus' daughter, or is she in fact the heir to the greatest dark wizard that has ever lived.

Dominique found the river peaceful, serene, a happy place to be admist the busy and hectic everyday life of a student. Maybe that's why the founder of Beauxbatons chose this location - just for this lake. Maybe they, like her, found it beautiful and calming and... wait, she was rambling again. Next thing you know, she would be talking to herself. That was a definite sign that she was going mad. She really should stop thinking about things so much.ADMIN EDIT
She shook her head of blonde hair and laughed airly to herself, chuckling at the simple matter of her thinking too much. Since when did she think? Dom wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, and most people knew that. Sure, she was good with wand work and memorised spells just like that, but it was the theory stuff she couldn't do, because she simply couldn't think about things in depth enough. Well, she realised, it was only in lessons that she couldn't do that.
"Morning." The call made her jump a little, the voice startling her out of her thoughts in her head, and she turned to see a seventh year approaching her. She could tell his year just by the height of him. Plus, she had seen him around a few times before, hanging around with people she knew to be in their seventh year. "Bonjour" She greeted him, her voice, like always, sweet but the French accent was not too thick. And by the way he had greeted her, she could tell he was not French. It was just as well then that she spoke English, wasn't it?
"You alright?" He sat down beside Dom, and she smiled at him friendly. Dominique had always been a friendly girl, which some people took advantage of, but she didn't let that stop her. She loved meeting new people. "Yes thanks, and you?" Because her mother was English, and always took her children over to England to see their grandparents in the holidays, she knew a lot of the English language and spoke it easily, despite finding it a little difficult when she was a child.
"Dominique." She stated her name, giving him another reassuring smile, and continued on, "How come you're out here? Everyone else seems to be afraid of the weather or something, and I thought I'd be the only one out." Rolling her eyes, she glanced at the river before looking back at the dark-haired man sitting beside her. Maybe this was the start of a great friendship?
