HOME! Sweet, sweet home. These words ran over and over again through Rose’s mind as she walked into the library, a smile on her face, her eyes sparkling with the love of books and knowledge. The library was the one place Rose could usually get away from her many family members as many of them thought this place was vial…well….the ones she was closest to at least. James came to mind, and she did not know how many times Albus had come into the library, but she was pretty sure that it was not that often. Rose gave a small sigh of content as she walked along the many isles the library held, old and slightly dusted, and yet Rose could not get enough of the sent.
After scanning the shelves, Rose picked out a few books. A few things for pleasure and a few things that Rose knew she would need for this year of school, and a few things to help her with her research that she was doing. Taking all the books, she walked over to a table and quietly placed them on the top, so as not to upset the librarian. It was still before the school year started, so jeans, a t-shirt and sneakers were allowed and Rose was taking full advantage of that.

Ann Marie was bored. Simple as that. Her friends were all in the common room with their boyfriends "welcoming each other back" as they called it. They said she was too innocent to understand but Ann knew exactly what they meant. They weren't coming back to the dorm tonight. She shook her head and walked out of the portrait hole. She was headed for the library which was like her second favorite place in the whole castle.
When she got there she breathed in the fresh scent of books and sighed. She loved it here but her friends hated it. She began to wander around looking for something interesting. She tugged on the hem of her Hollister hoodie and tapped her foot as she walked. She was watching out for that old batty librarian, Madame Pince or whatever her name was. She never seemed to like Ann Marie very much. She rolled her eyes and continued.
10 minuted later Ann Marie had found nothing. She shook her head and walked towards the tables. If she had nothing to read might as well bother someone who did. She smiled lightly to herself and skipped over to the front. She saw there was one occupied by a red headed girl who was obviously a Weasley. Their red hair was recognizable from miles away. She didn't know any of them personally but she's heard of most of them. She walked over to the table and plopped herself down in the seat across from the girl, who was a Ravenclaw. She smiled at her and said "Hello person I don't know. I'm Ann Marie nice to meet you."

Rose gave a startled jump and looked up, her cheeks a light pink from being scared so easily. “Hi.” She stuttered slightly, closing her book after marking her page with a bookmark. The color drained quickly from her face as her fear disappeared, a simply startle was not enough to keep her embarrassed for long, “It’s nice to meet you too Ann Marie. I’m Rose, Rose Weasley.” She introduced herself, extending her hand to reach across the table and shake hands with the girl. She was a Gryffindor, Rose knew from seeing her around school. She was a 7th year with her cousin James, but since Rose normally did not talk to the 7th year, Gryffindor’s specifically she had never really met Ann Marie, except for in passing.
