It was that time of year again, and Rhys couldn't be more excited. Every year his friends and himself would each take a flag representing themselves that they created their first years and hide it somewhere in the castle. Needless to say they were quite tattered after seven years of this hide and seek game. Points were awarded for finding others flags and deducted for getting your own found, but this year Rhys had a brilliant idea.
It was along the way leaving Hogwarts the year prior when the points were finally tallied for the year and he was announced losing yet again by a mere few points that he noticed the northern tallest tower and realized where he could hide it the year to come. It had been a plan awaiting all summer and here he finally was.
Still early, on a Saturday no less when students were usually sleeping in and professors were eating breakfast in the Great Hall. He couldn't help but notice nobody else was in their bunks, so they were out hiding theirs as well, the thought only made him more eager.
The stairs leading up to the tower were empty enough, and moments later there he sat upon the windowsill that was below the Astronomy classroom where he spent his earlier Hogwarts days monitoring star charts and the like. His wand was in his teeth and he was wrapping his banner around his hand, looking out the window all along and preparing himself.

As she ran through a dark forrest, Dominique couldn't help but scream. A pack of werewolves were after he, and she hadn't a thing to do in order to protect herself. It was the middle of the night, and she didn't even know how she arrived at such a place, in such a situation! The blonde ran deeper into the forest, getting scraped all over by various branches that she thought she could run through. Out of breath, she was stopped by one of the werewolves, his furry face brushing against her face as he prepared to bite her..
Dominique's eyes flickered open quickly, as she still felt that furry sensation on her face. Nearly jumping up, Dominique's snow-white cat, Annabelle, flew off of her bed, dashing under it, probably too scared to come back out for awhile. Laughing a bit, though still a bit shaken from the nightmare, Dominique was curious as to why she was sleeping with such thoughts in her head. Shaking her blonde hair, she really couldn't fall back asleep. Which was always such a pain, in her eyes.
As she stepped out of her bed, she realized that it was Saturday, and she had the whole day to relax. At night, things would most likely be different, but this would probably be one of her last days to rest up before the start of term. Slipping into a pair of silver flats, darker-grey skinny jeans, and a turquoise top with silver accents and no straps or sleeves to match her shoes, Dominique took her hair out of the ponytail it was in and let her wavy blonde hair fall just past her shoulders. Giving herself a quick look in the mirror, she ruffled her hair quick, and stepped out of her dorm and into the many hallways of Hogwarts.
Not often did Dominique take random walks through the castle, but she was feeling adventurous and wanted to see if she could find anything interesting throughout the school she had attended for so many years. As she wandered throughout the castle, she didn't really come upon anything interesting, until she was headed up the staircase to the northern tallest tower of Hogwarts. There was a guy sitting on the windowsill just above the Astronomy room. She had just walked through the room herself, for no apparent reason, and didn't try to scare the boy or anything. Stepping closer a bit, she exclaimed, "Uhhhm, is everything okay?" Dominique didn't say it rudely or anything, but it was more of a curious tone. Really, though, what could he be doing on a windowsill?
She thought she recognized him though, possibly. She believed he was in her year and house.. Rhys was his name? Dominique wasn't quite sure.. But, she would probably find out soon enough.

Quietly he leaned out the window and peered down, it was quite the far fall below, further than he'd ever fallen at least, and not gotten hurt that is. It was pretty cool for the morning and the wind was absent for the moment. What a perfect day for a climb outside the Northern Tower. He hadn't done this since at least his fourth year, and last time he'd been given a week's worth of detentions and 10 points away from Hufflepuff. Not that he had ever been much of a house point hoarder, the only good he'd done for them was on the Quidditch pitch.
The appearance of his fellow seventh year Hufflepuff Dominique went completely unnoticed to him as he continued to wrap his hands, still biting down on his wand. He'd have to use some sort of sticky charm to not risk falling this time around, and he looked out the window as she approached.
"Uhhhm, is everything okay?"
The sudden noise of a voice made his heart jump into his throat, and he did a double take as he looked up at her, then again to look her over. It took a second before he recognized who she was, and a sigh of relief escaped him.
"Yes, I'm fine, what brings you up here?" he asked, standing and turning around to the window again, leaning dangerously far out of it to look up at what he could see from the ledge.
